Israelite craftsmen and women labor throughout the wilderness camp as the materials for the Tabernacle are prepared. Woodworkers plane boards for the sanctuary frame, workers shape and carry supplies, and women weave, wash, and dye fine cloth for the sacred tent. Tents, livestock, timber, fabric, and tools fill the encampment, showing the whole community taking part in the work of worship.

The scene reflects the instructions in Exodus 35–36, when willing-hearted Israelites brought offerings and skilled artisans prepared the curtains, boards, coverings, and furnishings for the dwelling place of the Lord. The image emphasizes consecrated labor: ordinary hands offering craftsmanship, fabric, wood, and service so that God’s presence may dwell among His people.
